Kim Olesker is a collaborative and resilient executive who has significant experience building long-term relationships and developing strategies to drive organizational goals in the nonprofit sector. Her key skill is rallying people around a shared vision and empowering them to effectively carry out programs, services, and projects that make a positive impact on underserved communities. Kim has a proven track record of building high-performing teams of employees and volunteers to achieve objectives.
Kim spent the early part of her career in a series of management, operations, and marketing roles, where she developed a passion for mission-driven projects and honed her people and strategic planning skills. A dynamic leader, she was charged with strategic development and corporate social responsibility for signature events at the American Cancer Society. Leveraging her talents in storytelling, program design, and resource development, she secured funding to provide 2,000 children with kindergarten access, delivered a summer camp, and established kindergarten readiness across seven school districts. Kim continued to produce exceptional results in her subsequent role at United Way of Porter County. As a result of her quick actions, people leadership, and capacity building, she arranged successful COVID-19 food drives, daycare options, and other fundraising and mission delivery programs.
Kim recently served as CEO for Lakeshore Chamber of Commerce, where ecommerce and membership saw exceptional growth, the need to return to mission-driven work was the purpose of seeking out this next great opportunity with INCACS. A change agent and culture carrier, Kim transitioned the organization from a transactional strategy to a relationship-based approach, laying the foundation for exponential growth.
